This Part Of My Life Is Called: Devastation
I could of done some things different.

I could of started Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers who scored 21 and 22 points respectively. More than Matt Cassel's 19. Either one would've won me the game

I could of started Fasano (9 points) instead of Billy Miller (zero points)

I could of assassinated Jason Campbell before the game and put the whole DC out of its misery.

But I didn't do any of these thing.

The moral to this story? Don't trust anyone from Boston.

Charles Barkley Is Right

I like Cleveland. The city has treated me well the 4 times I've been there. They love their Browns (even Braylon Edwards). They love their Indians no matter how many times they lose. But they absolutely worship Lebron James. And that's why I believe Charles Barkley is right.

"If I was LeBron James, I would shut the hell up."

"The outside forces should never affect your locker room," Barkley said. "I think LeBron has made some of the right comments, but he hasn't made the perfect comment. He still alienated 11 guys in his locker room. What I mean by that, he hasn't said, "We are 12-3 right now" we are a championship-caliber team and we are going to win multiple championships here while I'm here, period, end of story."
It's what everyone in Cleveland was thinking but everyone was too scared to say. Didn't want to piss the king off. But it's a reality check from an NBA old head. I don't believe Sir Charles was being malicious or "stupid", as LBJ says. He's just looking out for a fellow future legend.

Now with that being said, 2010 can't get here fast enough! Let's go Knicks!

Dear Cabbie, From Brooklyn
Cabbie: "If I knew you were paying with a card, I wouldn't have picked you up"

84 Baby: "But you did and that's exactly why I didn't tell you. Jokes on you sucker"

Dear Cabbie,

Remember all those times u didn't want me to Brooklyn? Those times you rolled up real slow, let down your window half way and asked "Where are you going?". Before I got to the -lyn, you were gone so fast that only a silhouette of your dust was left. All those "I can't I'm changing shifts" or "I don't know how to get there, sorry" excuses. Got a trick for you now!

Paying with a credit card is the ultimate revenge. I know you don't get paid for a few weeks. You know I got cash in my pocket. But you're not getting it. $4 cab ride? Debit please. "Sir can you stop the meter". Roll your eyes and suck your teeth all you want. And I DARE you to tell me the machine isn't working. Because I'm just not paying. There's no sign that said it wasn't when I got in. You didn't make this clear. Ha! And gas prices are going back up of Palin gets in office. So vote change sucka!

Sincerely

Brooklyn

"Niggas will learn...trillaaa"
No commentary needed for this

Article via HipHopDX

According to DJ Vlad's complaint letter that he shared with HipHopDX, Ross "lured DJ Vlad to a meeting for the purpose of obtaining retribution" during the TJs DJs/Ozone Awards weekend. Ross initially made contact with Vlad via text message on August 10th saying "Niggas will learn...trillaaa." After Vlad responded, not knowing who the text was from, Ross responded by saying "Ross...im hearing things." Ross then called Vlad and said, among other things, "I've been hearing things about me on your website...We gonna make a story...We going to see each other... We going to talk...Where are you?" Both realized they were in Houston for the Ozone Awards and arranged a meeting on the 2nd floor of the Hilton Americas - where the TJs DJs Conference was being held. Ross, accompanied by at least four others, told Vlad "We got beef," and shortly after those with Ross attacked Vlad while Ross watched.

Vlad is seeking $2 million in compensatory damages and $2 million in punitive damages.

Fat Joe, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne Exposed?
In the age of Web 2.0, no one is safe from a possible exposure. It's hard to not be the next contestant on that Macbook screen. Just ask Rawse.

Which is why this new website, CriminalSearches.com, is perfect for any hip hop blogger. You can go from RSS flunkie to The Smoking Gun overnight! Found it reading the Sunday NY Times. I decided to "expose" some of my favorite gangster rappers, bloggers, high school classmates, ex-girlfriends, etc with the help of this site and Wikipedia.

I started with a search on myself: Randall Medford
Result: Nothing. My street cred is in the shitter

Next: Young Jeezy aka Mr. 17.5 aka Jay Jenkins

Result: 39 Results. None of which add up to Jeezy, who's birthday is 10/12/77. Guess Nas' candidate for Jesse Jackson's replacement isn't "real".

Next: Lil' Wayne aka Dwayne Carter Jr

Result: 34 Matches. None for Lil' Wayne.

Next: Fat Joe aka Jeoy Crack aka Joesph Cartagena

Result: 6 Matches. None Crackmania.

What does this all mean?

Absolutely nothing. Just because your favorite rapper didn't go to jail, doesn't mean his music is suddenly wack or not real. The only reason people get on Rick Ross is because he won't admit it. It's making rap not fun anymore. In the words of the late Heath Ledger, why so serious?

Harlem Wants To Smack Bill Clinton's Kufi Off

"Jesse Jackson won South Carolina in '84 and '88," Clinton said at a rally in Columbia. "Jackson ran a good campaign. And Obama ran a good campaign here."

"More Marriages Are Killed By Silence Than By Violence"

An incredible quote from this New York Times story on "The Ideal Husband". Pause. The word 'marriage' in this case is interchangeable with relationships in general.

Duck...Duck...Duck...Herps
Check out these scary NYC stats from the NY Daily News. One in every 4 people you see on WhatsPoppin.net has herpes. Makes me wanna stay my happy ass in the house and blog. The whole article below. In the words of the pussy monster:

"Safe sex is great sex
Better wear a latex
Cuz you dont want that late text
that "I think I'm late" text"

A city Health Department study finds that more than a fourth of adult New Yorkers are infected with the virus that causes genital herpes.

The study, released Monday, says about 26 percent of New York City adults have genital herpes, compared to about 19 percent nationwide.

The department says genital herpes can double a person's risk for contracting HIV.

Herpes can cause painful sores, but most people have no recognizable symptoms.

Among New Yorkers, the herpes rate is higher among women, black people and gay men.

The health department urges consistent use of condoms, and says its STD clinics offer free, confidential herpes testing.

The 84 Baby vs The State Of New Jersey
Photobucket

7:13am
2nd Avenue Street Station

It's hard to be positive this morning.

A gloomy, wet day is on the horizon. LeBron lost even after scoring 35 in Boston. The drunk and hot bartender from Club Home got my license. Went to bed at 4:45am. And I have a 8:30am court appearance in Newark, New Jersey for "Delaying Traffic". Today's gonna suck.

7:28am

Waited on that platform bench for roughly 15 minutes. Then the annoucement:

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the next Queens Bound F Train will be arriving at this station in 15 minutes"

15 minutes??? That's too symbolic (think Lupe's verse on the "Superstar Remix"). I decide to take control of my luck. The V Train on the other platform seems like it's about to depart. I haul ass to the other side and I catch it with about 8 seconds to spare. Success! McClearen, women staring frustratingly from the opposing platform. I meant no malice I just met the conductor's challenge AND WON! These small victories is what fuels my day. Time to relax and pretend I'm in that special place that makes me happy (refer to The Secret DVD).

7:37am
Penn Station

Ah ha! The Secret doesn't let me down. Walking one block to NJ Transit, I realize that it not only stopped raining but the sun's poking out. I also realize that Foot Action is open at 7 o'clock in the morning! I never needed sneakers that early before, but its nice to know you have options. Go down the stairs by MSG and purchase a one way peak ticket to Newark-Penn Station. I don't run , because they (old heads) say you go slower when you rush. Grab my 3-seater, throw my fitted over my eyes like Shyne and hope to god Soulja Girl doesn't sit next to me.

8:12pm
Newark Municipal Court

My train has arrived. Literally of course. A NY Times, apple juice and $7 cab ride later, I'm in front of the court house. There's a line of about 50 people ready to go in. Including one veteran standing directly behind me shouting advice to no one in particular: "People need to know you gotta take off your belt" "Everything out your pockets" "I wonder if KJ is searching people today?" The line is only this long because the side entrance is closed"

ine court

Turns out I didn't need old heads advice, because the metal detectors weren't working. So they just left everybody in unsearched!!! Including me with a bookbag! These people obviously have never seen State Property.

9:13am
Newark Court, Room 108

Traffic court. Someone going 59 in a 50mph zone. 30mph in a 25 zone. ZzzZZZzzz. Here we go! A DWI from a pleasant old lady. She refused to take the test. Gangsta! But her lawyer is a rookie. Grandma wasted her money. Just got warned to keep my arm off the back bench. Two more times and I'm outta here. This judge is a jerk. No one's gotten off and the average fine is $400. I rather plead not guilty then settle for that

10:50am

Left my permit at the club last night your honor.

Verdict?

Re-Scheduled until MAY 30TH

This Guy Should Have Just Paid Me
A man opened fire with a rifle at a busy department store Wednesday, killing eight people in an attack that made holiday shoppers run screaming through a mall and barricade themselves in dressing rooms.

The young shooter, who left a note predicting, "Now I'll be famous," wounded five others, two critically, then took his own life.

Next time just hire the firm, baby!

Brenda's Having More Babies

Luckily I've reached the age where I'll no longer be a statistic. Knock on wood. From the NY Times.

The birth rate among teenagers 15 to 19 in the United States rose 3 percent in 2006, according to a report issued Wednesday, the first such increase since 1991. The finding surprised scholars and fueled a debate about whether the Bush administration’s abstinence-only sexual education efforts are working.

Teenage birth rates are driven by rates of sex, contraception and abortion. In the 1990s, teenage sex rates dropped and condom use rose because teenagers were scared of AIDS, said Dr. John S. Santelli, chairman of the department of population and family health at Columbia University.

But recent advances in AIDS treatments have lowered concerns about the disease, and AIDS education efforts, which emphasized abstinence and condom use, have flagged.

Perhaps as a result, teenage sex rates have risen since 2001 and condom use has dropped since 2003. Abortion rates have held steady for a decade, although numbers from 2005 and 2006 are not available.

The largest increase came among black teenagers, but increases were also seen among whites, Hispanics and American Indians. Birth rates among Asian teenagers continued to drop.

Unmarried childbearing reached a record high in 2006, according to the disease control centers, with unmarried mothers now accounting for 38.5 percent of all births. Births among teenagers and unmarried women tend to lead to poor outcomes for their children.
