The Last New Yorker I'll Ever Buy
Obama New Yorker

This is just a shame. And super blatant. They claim it's supposed to be a parody of right wing stereo types versus the Obama's, but it comes across as pure hate. It's sad because I used to read this magazine ever week.

Even the article is insulting. The whole thing is about Barry flip flopping on issues and how the people he came up with in Chicago don't mess with him.

Anyway, if you're interested, read the whole article here:

Obama - New Yorker Magazine

I also picked up this interesting read called "Blogging Heroes". It showcases some of the biggest and best blogging success stories. Think Vh1 Driven for bloggers.

Just thought I'd let you know that some of your links are fucked up... Otherwise, you're doing a great job.

Real foul... They call it satire but its nothing but concentrated ignorance that will fuel more bias and incredulous claims about Barack. Got to hand it to the media, they know how to represent the truth.

I'm kind of conflicted about the cover. On one end I get what they were trying to do and with satire, you're typically damned if you do, damned if you don't, but I don't like the Osama picture in the background and in general, it's kind of a lazy way to illustrate the theme of "The Politics of Fear."

I liked their original idea better. Editor from The New Yorker talked to Huff Post about it: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/07/13/david-remnick-on-emnew-yo_n_112456.html

    The Truth:
What kind of thoughts come to your mind when you see that pic?
    Not good ones.
And they are not about how that's what the bad guys want you to think about Obama, for people who are not fully educated on the politics of it.
A kid 9 year old kid sees that on a newstand and even he knows that's a messed up portrayal of a guy who could probably save America and Iraq.
I agree the article was crap also. Like doy! What the hell does him talking to old buddies, have to do with what he'll do for the economy or his day to day plan for the middle east and oil dependency?

    WTF?! is going on?!

uh dude did u even read the entire article? it pretty much defends and justifies any minor flip flopping that obama has done. i'd say its a pretty pro-obama piece, check it out again.

Its a backhanded piece...this is how it reads:

In Chicago he stabbed everyone in the back. Now he's on top. He said he was gonna help but he didn't.

Negative flip flop negative flip flop. 1 Word Assement: Maybe

Negative flip flop negative flip flop. 1 Word Assesment: Didn't

Negative Flip Negative Flip Flop.1 Word Assesment: He Did

Then 2 lines about Mccain + the cover

    F that
