DJ Khaled's Trying To Brainwash Us

DJ Khaled is on some ole 1984 shit. I know where he's going when preaching "love", "unity", "who? weeeee!", "we the best!" etc. He's not fooling me. I must stop him before he enslaves us all.

Law 27

Play on People’s Need to Believe to Create a Cultlike Following

People have an overwhelming desire to believe in something. Become the focal point of such desire by offering them a cause, a new faith to follow. Keep your words vague but full of promise; emphasize enthusiasm over rationality and clear thinking. Give your new disciples rituals to perform, ask them to make sacrifices on your behalf. In the absence of organized religion and grand causes, your new belief system will bring you untold power.

He gets all these artists to collaborate and make some of the biggest songs of their careers (Law 24, Play the Perfect Courtier). Khaled just goes into the studio, brainwashes the artists with his mantras and gets them to make the best records of their lives. He gets his producers (The Runners, Cool & Dre) to provide the biggest beats for these newly motivated artists (Law 7
Get others to do the Work for you, but Always Take the Credit
).

Law 43

Work on the Hearts and Minds of Others

Coercion creates a reaction that will eventually work against you. You must seduce others into wanting to move in your direction. A person you have seduced becomes your loyal pawn. And the way to seduce others is to operate on their individual psychologies and weaknesses. Soften up the resistant by working on their emotions, playing on what they hold dear and what they fear. Ignore the hearts and minds of others and they will grow to hate you.

Though you and I love these songs, and his motivational speaker-like rants, he must be stopped. It starts with Lil Wayne, TI, Rick Ross, Plies, Fat Joe collabos. But it only begins in Miami (Law 23 Concentrate Your Forces). Next thing you know he'll have Doug Morris, Lyor Cohen, LA Reid, Clive Davis, Jimmy Iovine and every other top exec working together and creating monopolies. God forbid he goes into politics. I can see George W., Bill and Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Rudy Guliani and every other major politician on stage with Khaled screaming "We The Best"! Khaled at United Nations talking about "I'm about loooove and unityyyyyy".

Then BOOM! Khaled, leader of teh free world. We must stop him before it gets too late!

Create Compelling Spectacles

Striking imagery and grand symbolic gestures create the aura of power – everyone responds to them. Stage spectacles for those around you, then full of arresting visuals and radiant symbols that heighten your presence. Dazzled by appearances, no one will notice what you are really doing.

rotf... just reading/listening to his interviews are painstakingly indigestible. the entire time he speaks he's chanting "weeee the beessst" in almost every response. If someone asks "who is 'we' when you say 'we the best'?" he goes on to say "everybody. we the best! If you feeling me, if you understand the movement then youre apart of that." lmao...there is method to his madness.

I can understand where you may be coming from when you say Khaled is trying to brainwash us, but since you are an A&R at Atlantic, I would think you would have some kind of power to tell artist over there what is going on. I just think he is on some kind of drugs because all we hear him say when he is on TV is "We da Best"...it gets anyonning very fast and you can tell he is not a very intelligent person.

i'm a florida native, and I'll agree, in reality Khaled is jus "brainwashing". But he did put in his time in Miami, and held down the clubs and radion. Now he is just benefitting from that street work and his connects. If I knew all of Terror Squad and was a DJ i'd get em on a mixtape two. If I meet two kids from Orlando and their beats are hot, I'd manage em b4 anyone else too. But this whole, "We the best" movement is getting a lil old. I'm glad he's getting all these rappers on tracks and bringing them to mainstream as opposed to the mixtape circuit, but its getting to be overkill. Especially when Khaleds only producing one or two tracks off his own albums. Cool and Dre and The Runners get most of it. Got to respect Khaled, but he is getting annoying

Come on now Sycamore, you can't be letting the secret out (48 Laws), that and The Laws of Seduction will make anyone a true manipulator. I think he's read "The Secret" as well.

    Good post

everybody in the music industry is reading that book, thats why everybody is doing the exact same thing Khaled is. But fucking people over was going on before the book came out though...NGH's probably need to switch their reading habits.
