According to DJ Vlad's complaint letter that he shared with HipHopDX, Ross "lured DJ Vlad to a meeting for the purpose of obtaining retribution" during the TJs DJs/Ozone Awards weekend. Ross initially made contact with Vlad via text message on August 10th saying "Niggas will learn...trillaaa." After Vlad responded, not knowing who the text was from, Ross responded by saying "Ross...im hearing things." Ross then called Vlad and said, among other things, "I've been hearing things about me on your website...We gonna make a story...We going to see each other... We going to talk...Where are you?" Both realized they were in Houston for the Ozone Awards and arranged a meeting on the 2nd floor of the Hilton Americas - where the TJs DJs Conference was being held. Ross, accompanied by at least four others, told Vlad "We got beef," and shortly after those with Ross attacked Vlad while Ross watched.
Vlad is seeking $2 million in compensatory damages and $2 million in punitive damages.

ReplyDeletefight #2, who else had beef at the ozone's?
First and foremost, niggas is takin this whole boss shit to the head. Getting your cronies to beat up someone that YOU have a problem with ain't cool and is far from respectable. How the hell you gonna get mad at someone over something that you lied about....
ReplyDeleteShit is disgusting...YOU WERE A C.O. face it...thats it...and these artists keep sleeping on the power that DJ's have...
Sucka niggas never learn....trilllaaa
I bet Rick Ross got a lil' pecka.
ReplyDeleteAccording to my intel, DJ Vlad is a part of several DJ coalitions and is affiliated with several radio stations. I wonder if any of them are going to stand up and boycott all officer Ricky's records.
ReplyDeleteThere is no respect for the DJ's when shit like this can happen and no collective action is taken. Maybe, this is why Lil Wayne sold a over 1 Million albums in his first week.
woooooooow
ReplyDeleteI would pay cash money for an audio recording of the lawyers reading that text transcript in the courtroom...I just die laughing thinking about how many times that would get brought up in a trial.
ReplyDelete"And can you explain to the jury, sir, what 'trillaaaa' means?"
